TEST, NOT ESTIMATE

Dynamic vs Static Measurement

NinjaPilot [ Dynamic Test ] Other [ Static Estimate ]
How It Works Runs a live “test” of your heart recovery, real-time and isolated. Averages all-day activity data, past habits, and other app stats.
Data Source Measures how your heart adapts and recovers in the moment after training. VO₂ Max estimates, sleep logs, calories, movement history.
Measurement Type Active, time-bound test. Passive, background averaging.
Result Type Dynamic and based on your current biological state (aging). Static and generalized long-term estimate.
Accuracy Impact Reflects your heart’s true performance RIGHT NOW. Prone to error from inconsistent lifestyle tracking.
What Affects It Stress, sleep, food, emotional load — as felt now. Past weeks/months of mixed data inputs.
Use Case Daily checks, session-based insights. Occasional overviews, broad trends.
Why It Matters Each result reflects your real-time condition — and guides you forward, helping reverse aging by adapting to your body's needs with every session. Averages may look stable but can mask real physiological change.

Because your health isn’t averaged — it’s alive.

Same Zone Goal Your Own Way There

NinjaPilot as the class co-pilot : the coach guides the zones, while each rider controls speed and resistance to reach them.

The coach guides the class by calling out the target color zone, while every member adjusts their own speed and resistance according to their individual ability.

Because fitness level, strength, endurance, and recovery are different for every person, the same pace or resistance cannot provide the same training effect for the entire class. Time can structure the session, but it should not be the only standard used to determine intensity.

NinjaPilot keeps everyone working toward the same class goal while making each rider’s effort personal—showing when to push, maintain, slow down, or recover based on their own heart response.

This allows a group class to feel more like one-on-one coaching and gives personal trainers the same clear method for guiding individual clients. After the workout, NinjaPilot analyzes each rider’s recovery, reveals their Heart Age, and uses the result to update their zones for future sessions.

Measure Heart Age

Cardiovascular recovery is dynamic, not a single measurement at one time point.

Instead of relying on one HRR value, NinjaPilot analyzes the full recovery period after exercise, including how quickly heart rate drops, how the recovery slope changes over time, and how the pattern compares with established HRR physiology.

This continuous recovery analysis also enables NinjaPilot to calculate Heart Age in decimal form, such as 43.3 instead of only 43, giving users a more precise reading of how their heart performed in that session.

Shift Your Zone

NinjaPilot uses each Heart Age result to automatically update the user’s workout zones.

If a 30-year-old user receives a Heart Age of 25.6, NinjaPilot automatically recalculates that user's workout zones based on the physiology of a 25.6-year-old heart. The next workout is therefore performed using these updated zones rather than the user's chronological age.

If the Heart Age is 35.6, the zones shift to reflect the heart’s current condition, allowing the user to train at a safer and more appropriate intensity until future Heart Age measurements indicate improvement.

After every Heart Age reading, the zones are recalculated again, allowing training intensity to evolve continuously with the user's cardiovascular performance instead of remaining fixed.

Push. Breathe. Recover.

NinjaPilot transforms live heart-rate colors into instant coaching cues.

Strength Training : Catch Breath-Holding

If the exercise looks demanding but NinjaPilot remains in the green zone or suddenly drops to a lower color, the visible heart-rate response may not match the effort. That mismatch gives the user or trainer an immediate reason to check breathing, form, armband fit, and whether it is time to pause.

Cue the user to exhale during the effort and inhale during the return, then continue watching the colors as the set progresses. This makes breathing mistakes easier to notice and correct before they continue throughout the workout.

HIIT & Cardio : Train by Response

Instead of making everyone follow the same work-and-rest timer, NinjaPilot allows each interval to follow the individual’s heart response.

Guide the user to push toward an assigned color, recover until the display returns to a lower zone, and then begin the next round. This helps trainers personalize HIIT intensity and recovery rather than relying only on a one-size-fits-all clock.

REVEAL HIDDEN SIGNALS

NinjaPilot makes unusual heart-rate responses visible, even when the user feels completely normal.

A RED-and-BLUE warning flashes when the heart rate remains above the user’s maximum zone, helping the user and the trainer recognize excessive strain and reduce the workout intensity immediately. Once the heart rate returns to the assigned range, the display changes back to a single zone color.

NinjaPilot can also reveal unexpected patterns, such as staying in the green zone during intense effort or suddenly reaching the red zone during a warm-up. These responses may be connected to breathing mistakes, dehydration, fatigue, or other factors affecting how the heart responds to exercise.

By displaying every change clearly in real time, with no subtle vibrations or complicated data to interpret—NinjaPilot helps users adjust their breathing, modify workout intensity, and seek medical guidance when an unusual pattern continues. It does not diagnose the cause; it makes important signals easier to notice before they are overlooked.

FAQs

What is NinjaPilot?

NinjaPilot is a heart-rate training device that measures Heart Age, tracks workout zones, and updates those zones based on each Heart Age result. It combines real-time heart-rate monitoring, Heart Age measurement, and automatic zone adjustment in one compact device, without requiring an app or additional equipment.

How does NinjaPilot support healthier aging?

NinjaPilot measures how your heart rate recovers after exercise and uses that recovery pattern to estimate your Heart Age. After each reading, it updates your training zones to reflect your current cardiovascular performance.

By following these updated zones and tracking changes over time, users can train at a more appropriate intensity and work toward improving heart fitness. NinjaPilot does not reverse chronological age, but it can help users monitor and improve factors associated with cardiovascular aging.

How does NinjaPilot guide workout?

NinjaPilot uses color-coded LED pulses, synchronized with the user’s heartbeat, to show the current heart-rate zone in real time. After each Heart Age measurement, it recalculates the training zones based on the user’s current cardiovascular performance. These colors help the user or trainer know when to increase effort, maintain the current pace, slow down, or recover.

Why NinjaPilot show a lower heart rate during strength training?

This can happen because NinjaPilot’s armband reads blood flow, not direct electrical heart activity. When you're doing high-intensity movements—like lifting weights or intense dancing—holding your breath (bracing or straining) can reduce blood flow to your arms. This triggers a false drop in detected heart rate, even though your actual heart rate is high.
In reality, your heart is likely working hard—but irregular breathing or breath-holding (commonly seen in weightlifting or intense moves) affects how blood circulates through the body and past the sensor.
Tip: Always breathe steadily during strength or high-effort movements. Breath-holding can increase chest pressure, spike blood pressure, reduce blood return to the heart, and even cause dizziness or fatigue—especially for those with heart conditions.

What is Heart Age?

Your chronological age is the number of years since you were born. Your Heart Age is an estimate of how your heart’s recovery after exercise compares with typical recovery patterns at different ages.

Heart Age may be younger or older than your chronological age, providing a view of your cardiovascular performance during that session.

How is Heart Age measured?

1. Exercise and keep your heart rate in the orange/red zone (zone 4/5) for at least one minute.
2. When the number on screen starts blinking, stop workout and stay still.
3. Press the Home button — NinjaPilot measures your heart rate recovery and reveals your Heart Age.

Why is my Heart Age older than my ID age?

your heart rate recovered more slowly during that session than the pattern expected for your chronological age. It’s a sign your biological systems are working harder than they should, often due to factors like lack of fitness, poor sleep, stress, or lifestyle habits.

Why does my Heart Age change between sessions?

Heart Age is estimated from your heart rate recovery after exercise, so it can vary with your condition that day. Sleep, stress, fatigue, hydration, nutrition, recent workouts, exercise intensity, temperature, medications, and illness may all affect the result.

One reading is only a snapshot and does not necessarily mean your fitness has suddenly improved or declined. Look at the trend across several sessions performed under similar conditions. After each Heart Age measurement, NinjaPilot updates your training zones based on the latest result.

What happens after I get my Heart Age?

After each Heart Age measurement, NinjaPilot automatically recalculates your heart-rate zones based on your latest result. These updated zones guide the intensity of your next workout so you can train at a level that better reflects your current cardiovascular performance. As your Heart Age changes, your zones continue to adjust over time.

Why is measuring Heart Age important?

1. Understand your heart’s recovery
Chronological age shows how many years you have lived. Heart Age estimates how your heart-rate recovery after exercise compares with typical recovery patterns at different ages, giving you another way to understand your cardiovascular performance.

2. Personalize your training zones
After each Heart Age measurement, NinjaPilot updates your heart-rate zones based on the latest result rather than chronological age alone. This helps the next workout better reflect your current condition.

3. Track Meaningful Progress
Heart Age gives you a more accurate picture of your health than calories or minutes ever could. A younger Heart Age reflects better heart health, stronger circulation, and faster recovery after exercise. It means your heart, lungs, and body are working more efficiently — helping you build stamina and resilience over time.
